Family... I... wonder what it's like to have one....?

[Glancing up, she finally noticed the feed had been on for a while now.]

O-Oh yeah! I forgot I turned this on....

I have a question for everyone here.... I was just wondering how it would be like to have a family? I've never really had one of my own, but I imagine it would be a wonderful thing. I have so many wonderful friends that I care about, but I can't help but wonder what I'll do after I have to return to my old life....

[For most people, they can take that as is her going home from Luceti, but to those who know about her secret identity(s), she's referring to when Mytho has his heart shards back again and returns to being a duck again.]

What are your families like? Are family traditions different from other families around? I'm... just a little curious. I'd like to hear from you all.

[And with that, she slightly bows her head as if giving her respect as she turns the feed off for now.]

What was what like? Being adopted? Or growing up in my family?

[Leia frowns as she thinks over how best to answer the girl. It's not like this is an easy topic for her.]

I didn't know for sure that I was adopted until a few years ago. My parents couldn't have children of their own but they loved me as if I was. I never wanted for anything. They werw both busy but made time for me. My aunts were wonderful and tried to make sure I knew everything I would need as princess and later queen.

My best friend was like my sister and we were inseparable.

It was a fairly idyllic life, honestly.

That still sounds wonderful. It seems like you have a wonderful family.

They were wonderful. But in Luceti, I have both of my birth parents, my estranged twin brother and my future husband. It's... different. Both families have their good and bad sides.

[She can't help but laugh at herself. She and Anakin have yet to have a conversation worth having since her arrival and it isn't likely to happen any time soon.]

But, you should understand that being related by blood doesn't have to be a necessity to being family. Love and mutual respect are the most important things.
