[When the feed turns on, you can see Duck looking a little uncertain. She didn't really seem sad as much as she just didn't seem to know what to do. There were a few minutes where she simply looked at the journal as if trying to figure out what to say.]

Uhm... So I have a question for everyone....

What do you do when you like somebody...? Like... not just like somebody like friends but... more than that...?

[And there her cheeks turn a light red.]

I-I mean... I guess it's not that big of a deal but...

It would be nice if he felt the same way, but if he doesn't he doesn't.

It is nice when they feel the same way... [She smiles faintly, and part of her plays a scenario where Gai didn't like her the same way she liked him. And her heart breaks a little just from that hypothetical scenario. But obviously that's not going to be helpful here.]

That's a good outlook to have, though. In the end, no one can change how someone feels. If he doesn't feel the same way, staying friends is the next best thing.

As long as I can stay by his side, I think that would be enough.

Then I would tell him whenever you feel the moment is right. Something like, 'I like spending time with you, and I'd like to do it more if you want to, too.' Maybe something like that.

I could see why it might make someone nervous, though. I think most people don't like it when things change, or are afraid of what could happen. But you shouldn't compromise how you feel just to be comfortable. My fiance says 'Life would be boring without a little adventure' all the time. And he's right--it would be boring if we didn't go outside of what's comfortable some of the time.
